Empowering artisans since 2019
Bella Faso Boutique began in 2019 when our founder witnessed the exceptional skill of women weavers in Burkina Faso who were receiving little to no fair compensation for their craft. We set out to change that dynamic by purchasing their beautiful handwoven fabrics directly, paying transparent wages upfront, and fostering genuine economic independence.

Every garment we produce honours the sacred heritage of Faso Dan Fani, the legendary woven cotton cloth of Burkina Faso. By blending traditional handloom artistry with modern silhouettes designed from our base in the Netherlands, we deliver distinctive luxury garments that celebrate cultural pride and slow, sustainable fashion.
